Oracle 20c New Features and Installation Oracle Database 20c on Linux 7.6
Oracle will release 20c at the beginning of 2020 after Oracle 19c on 2019. Oracle has planned to release every year with new versions. Before it was released versions Oracle 18c, 12c, 11g,10g and 9i so on.
Oracle was released new major version in a every 3-5 years until Oracle 12c. Oracle has started to release new major version number every year starting with 18c.
Firstly, Oracle has released 18c in the year of 2018, and has released 19c in the year of 2019. Now, Oracle will have a plans to release 20c in the beginning of year 2020.
Well, What are the new features of Oracle 20c ?
- the non-CDB architecture will be desupported with Oracle 20c
- The usage of Multitenant architecture will be mandatory.
- A New JSON Datatype for SQL and PL/SQL in 20c
- Lots of machine learning algorithms
- AutoML
- Native Blockchain tables
